MDN Web Docs is an evolving learning platform for Web technologies and the software that powers the Web, including: Web standards such as CSS, HTML, and JavaScript and Open Web app development. it’s a resource for developers, maintained by the community of developers and technical writers and hosting many documents on a wide variety of subjects, such as: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Web APIs, Node.js, WebExtensions and MathML

W3Schools is a web developers site, with tutorials and references on web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, Python, jQuery, Java, W3.CSS, and Bootstrap, covering most aspects of web programming. it’s name is derived from the World Wide Web, but is not affiliated with the W3C.
